OfficialGeezz Interview: How He Found His Voice In Music & Advice For All Artists…
Could you go into a little detail about who you are and where you are from for new fans that may be just now coming across you and your music?
My name is Geezz. Heart Froze CEO. Heart Froze consists of 4 people. But, I’m From Suffolk, Virginia. I’m a southern native. I relocated to Jersey about 3 years ago. I’m 23 years old. Born in August 1997.
I do rap, trap, love music. I’m good on any sound.
I have been doing music for about 2 years consecutively. I did my first song in Middle School. That’s when I first discover that I had the talent where I felt like I could use my voice. I did a remix to “Uber Everywhere” by Trill Sammy. Around that time is when I discovered that I had a voice.
I played football and I also played basketball too. So, sports got in the way of me actually trying to perfect the craft of music. So, I first started doing music two years ago. I dropped my first video on all platforms. It was called “Been Through”. It did good. After that, me and my friends came up with the group Heart Froze (Heart Froze Records) and we just been putting out singles on platforms, and ever since then we just been going up.
Now I’m working on my second single, it’s called “Voices In My Head” . It’s dropping in June. Basically, I just want to let the people know that I’m back out. I went and mastered a couple sounds, a couple melodies, melodic beats… my melodated sound along with my natural sound. So I learned how to put it all together.
Now I’m trying to give it to the world and show the world what I got and let the industry pick me up and sign a deal. Take care of my mom my brother , my family, all my brothers, sisters, nephews, and everybody that took care of me.
Okay, so that remix helped you find your voice and get your feet wet into making music. That was a huge step to take. You took action and got started and that’s all that matters. Look at you now and how far you have progressed from then. You definitely should be proud of yourself!
Do you have any networking tips for artists that may be trying to attain your level of success?
As far as networking tips for artists, I feel like all artists should reach out to other artists. Especially if an artist that you know is trying to work. My best advice for an artists that’s coming up as far as networking or anything is keep showing people what you got. Keep putting your all into what you’re doing. Keep being consistent . As long as you are being consistent people are always going to be in your best interest and want to work with you.
But, great advice for artists! That’s definitely one of the things that drew me to you. When I came across your page, I seen that you were active and working.
